Jill is an economic development professional and a member of the Economic Development Association of Canada and the British Columbia Economic Development Association.
Jill has a Master of Adult Education, Community Development from St. Francis Xavier University. Jill focused her academic research on the dynamics of amenity migration in rural mountain towns and community-led learning and governance for inclusivity and sustainability. Jill also holds a Certificate in Economic Development from the University of Waterloo and Bachelor’s Degree from Bishop’s University.
Jill specializes in designing equitable processes and systems-change thinking paired with community-level implementation.
When asked what she thinks Golden’s greatest asset is, she answered without any hesitation – “our people”.
